About us
Working in the waste industry in Canada British Columbia Vancouver has been shocking to see the amount of ''recyclable'' products get exported to third world countries to be disposed of, either by open air landfill burning or getting dumped into the ocean.
If you think about the amount of plastic that is generated by typical consumer products that are unnecessary for commonly used items it's a mind boggling number that would amount to billions of pounds of trash and plastic.
For example, the average household in Canada throws out multiple bathroom, kitchen and bedroom cleaning products from sprays (that can cause cancer) to soaps (which are hormone disruptors) that are packaged in non recyclable plastic leading them to be sent to a landfill.
Soap bottles for example are unable to be recycled. So they get sent to a processing facility in Canada which then get exported to a third world country typically Asia, where companies will ''dispose'' of them. Typically in the form of open air burning or just dumping them into rivers and oceans.
We want to make a change, and stop the root cause of this pollution, by creating environment friendly products that are renewable and biodegradable. Packaging our products in paper or cardboard so that you can dispose of it and not leave a massive carbon footprint behind. To many consumer items end up in landfills or our oceans.
Let's fight against plastic pollution.
